Five Star - I'm not even sure there are words to express this book! The Christmas hitchhiker! I haven't finished a whole book in over two years and I couldn't put this one down! Sagan and Gabriel were so true to life I felt like they were old friends of mine! Can't wait until " The Solitary Stone gets here! by B.B.

Five Star - The Christmas Hitchhiker is a wonderful romance centered on the Christmas holidays. It highlights the relationship between a woman and a military veteran that is both interesting and heartwarming at the same time. It was a thoroughly enjoyable tale where several unexpected events lead to a chance at happiness for both characters, if they can only find the correct path. I look forward to more books from this new and exciting Author. by Shane

Five Star - I have enjoyed all of Mrs. Lindmark's novels. She has a way of telling a wonderful story that leaves you wanting to know more about each and every character. Every character has depth and are not so insipid that you would not care in any way what is happening in the story. Devin and Starr have many flaws, however, they work through them in a very genuine and reasonable manner. The only issue that I would have is that I would have liked it to be longer. I love the Cross family and want to read more about them. Hint, hint.

Joey Cross cannot believe that for the first time ever, the insane messy chaos of her life is just more than she can handle right now. Her career seems to be flatlining, and if her coworkers do not stop bothering her so she can save her career, she might just choke one of them to death with a button, or perhaps stab them with a pair of scissors. Fortunately, before she snaps and does something she might regret, her boss offers her the use of his cabin in the secluded backwoods of Montana in an effort to save her from being late for Christmas, but it does not take long for her to learn in the middle of nowhere Montana she sticks out like a sore thumb, and a late-night run in with the local Sheriff might just land her in jail.

Frances has no recollection of her life before the orphanage.  All she can remember of her early life is being bounced from one bad situation to another and school after school, never stopping anywhere long enough to make a friend.  Sadly, with her secondhand clothes and funny accent, she made more than her fair share of enemies and often found herself sitting in the principal's office waiting for whatever adult to come claim her.  But her life made a distinctive change the day the priest walked in and asked if she was Frances Kristiansen.  From that moment on, things in her life were looking up.  Of course, that was all before a team of suits showed up on the jobsite, awakening old wounds and sending her life spinning out of her control.

Peter Cross' life had never gone his way.  From the very beginning he was always standing in somebody's shadow.  Every attempt he made to break free of it only made the situation worse, which is exactly what landed him in this situation – in debt up past his eyeballs, bruised, broken and bleeding, and on the run.  A simple phone call was all it would take to put his life back in order, but that would involve swallowing his pride and begging his father for help.  Something he was not willing to do, but maybe with just a little help from fate, a cold, lonely night in the woods, and some help from some new friends, maybe he might just find his way home.

When you have spent as much of your life stirring the pot as Bjorn has, it is not strictly surprising that his romantic life would go sideways in a spectacular fashion, but that does not stop it from hurting like hell.  It also did not stop him from being short tempered with everybody, which also made it perfectly reasonable for the boss to decide he needed time away.  But seriously, sending him to America had to be just a tiny bit of an overreaction!  I mean, it was not like he tried to kill anybody, but nevertheless, now here he was on his birthday, drunk and alone in America, desperately trying to understand what the Pixie is doing here.
